Qualifications/experience: quantity surveying: 1 year (required)

Salary: Starting at £30,000 - £40,000.00 per annum depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person, Edinburgh

Are you an ambitious and visionary newly or nearly qualified Quantity Surveyor looking to grow and develop your career within the Construction sector? Edinburgh Construction are recruiting a new Junior Quantity Surveyor

​

What you will need:

• Proven experience in quantity surveying within the UK, either newly qualified or almost qualified.

• Sharp commercial instincts, and an unbeatable work ethic.

• Proven track record over managing project finances and benchmarking costs.

• Strong liaison skills with everyone from site managers to suppliers.

​

Your Day-to-Day Role:

• Help direct project costs, budgets, and create forecasts that matter.

• Manage supplier and subcontractor contracts.

• Be one the linchpin's of the estimating and bidding process.

• Construct precise tender documents for sub-trades and suppliers.

• Forge solid connections with suppliers, assisting them in procurement.

• Seamlessly work alongside our experienced QS and wider team, from the managing director to office staff.

• Deliver insights on project costs, estimating, and crucial reporting.
