Edinburgh Construction, a rapidly growing construction and property development business, are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our passionate team which values relationships, high quality of product, and building a smart and sustainable future within our sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person with strong sales, interpersonal strengths, and a solid knowledge of business and marketing practices, to make an impact within our sector.

We are seeking someone with experience and knowledge of the construction or property sector to help take the business through a deliberate and ambitious growth phase. The role will be varied, and would suit some with strong sales aptitudes, as well as a good understanding of marketing. The role will be salary plus a generous commission spread across different arms of the business, however, with a key focused in winning new construction contracts and projects, and developing the businesses brand.

Full training, support, and access to lead generation systems will be provided.

The role will involve:

  •  Bringing in new private and public sector clients, as well building relationships with existing customers.

  •  Attending and getting involved in external events to increase brand awareness and company PR

  •  Helping develop existing and new business and operational practices to align delivery with client experience

  •  Interview and appoint third-party marketing teams, and direct them in achieving sales goals, overseeing marketing strategies across the business, and making sure campaigns and efforts are in alignment with business objectives and brand image

  •  Provide support in decision making within the executive team in developing and growing business aims.

  •  Help support the business through a growth cycle with specific fiscal and organizational targets, objectives, and goals to meet

  •  The right candidate will be personable, have experience within the construction or property industry, and be objective driven and ambitious.

Competitive base salary + generous commission, car allowance, and commission offered. (anticipated earning of up to £80,000+ PA if KPI’s are achieved)
