Job Title: Business and Administration Modern Apprentice

 

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

 

Position Type: Full-time, Paid Apprenticeship (1 day/week at university)

 

Overview:

Join our dynamic and fast-growing construction and property development company based in Edinburgh. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as Business and Administration Modern Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in office administration, finance, marketing, property development, and business management while pursuing a degree in Business Management at University.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to various departments within the company, including document management, answering calls/emails, diary entry, minuting meetings, data entry, and other ad-hoc admin duties. Assist with financial tasks, such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies, including social media management and content creation.

Gain hands-on experience in property development by assisting with research, analysis, and coordination of various projects. Learn and apply fundamental principles of business management by participating in meetings, creating reports, and supporting senior staff members.

 

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in construction, property development, and business management.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure efficient office administration.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to pursue a degree in Business Management.

  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
